Clarins Double Serum Review

Clarins Double Serum

It boasts to be a complete age control concentrate, because it has this so- called hydric and lipidic system. Basically you have an oil loving part, and a water-loving part in the double serum. Since we all know that oil and water don’t mix well, I guess it becomes more stable when you separate them?

Just a thought.

Princess Brat liked the cylindrical bottle, with an obvious small pump dispenser. I have found that a pump is enough for my face. The hydric part is brown in color, while the lipidic part is basically just oil. The company says that it contains tumerone, an extract from tumeric.

Since tumeric has a lot of anti-oxidative and anti-inflammatory properties, this might work as it claims? There are around 20 herbal extracts in this bottle, it claims to protect and regenerate, as well as the usual hydrate, protect and provide oxygen.

A 30mL bottle costs around AUD 120 here. So far with one pump a day, a twice daily use would last around three to six months. Plus, looks like it uses a vacuum system, which might slow down degradation, and prolong its stability and efficacy.

The smell is not overpowering, but it does have a strong herbal scent if you are paying attention. The amount is exact with every dispense, which helps you save cost. Putting too much serum can sometimes cause breakouts, however the skin cannot absorb that much product so you will be wasting money using more.

So far, the results are pretty good. Unlike oils, which needs to be massaged in; or not as hydrating as water, the Clarins Double Serum does have the best of both worlds. Plus, it can be used for people of all skin types, so you can think of buying this as a Christmas present.
